KLM switches to Premium Comfort this summer

The capacity of the new Premium Comfort from KLM will reach between 21 and 28 seats depending on the aircraft: 28 Premium seats on the Boeing 787-10, compared with 21 on the 787-9 and 24 on the 777-300 and 777-200. The new seats to be fitted to the Premium Comfort, designed by Collins Aerospace, are distinguished by their reduced weight, while also boasting improved comfort, with increased width and legroom. The reclining angle will also be - slightly - improved compared to economy class, while the entertainment screen will now have a diagonal of 13.3 inches, compared to 9 to 11 inches in economy class.

The catering offer, which will be based on reusable or recycled materials, will also be improved compared to the "classic" offer. Passengers in Premium Comfort class will be served one or two hot meals on intercontinental flightsIn addition, KLM offers a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian dishes. KLM also mentions " a variety of snacks and cocktails (...) served between meals, many of which will be selected from those previously popular in World Business Class ".

Finally, the passenger journey through the airport will also benefit from this new intermediate option.
