Qatar Airways flies to Chongqing

After Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, Qatar Airways is opening a fifth destination in China with services to Chongqing three times a week.

Business travellers wishing to visit Chongqinq, one of China's major cities and a fast-growing industrial hub, will now be able to use Qatar Airways flights. The airline now serves the Chinese city three times a week from Paris, via the Doha hub.

Qatar Airways, which added 15 new routes in 2011, is preparing to open several new routes in 2012: Baku (Azerbaijan), Tbilisi (Georgia), Helsinki (Finland), Zagreb (Croatia), Perth (Australia), Mombasa (Kenya), Zanzibar (Tanzania), Kigali (Rwanda) and Gassim (Saudi Arabia).
