RevPAR fell by 22.1 % to e59, with an occupancy rate of 66.8 % (-2 points). The Park Inn brand was particularly hard hit, with RevPAR falling by 28.1 % from e50.30 to e36.10; at Radisson Blu, it varied from e83.8 to e66.60. However, Rezidor is not cutting back. Between July and October, the group opened 1,300 rooms; and in the first nine months of the year, 30 new hotels for a total of 5,900 rooms.

Rezidor saw its revenues fall by 6.1 % in the third quarter of 2009 compared with the same period last year.
