Singapore Airlines has just presented the new generation of KrisWorld. The entertainment system combines 4K touchscreens, including OLED screens on some devices and classes, with three-dimensional sound that gives the impression that the sound comes from multiple directions. It also includes active noise reduction headphones and Bluetooth pairing for personal headphones. Finally, the interface gains filter search, a mini player, and shortcuts to favorite content.
The catalog features more than 2,500 programs, updated every month. In addition, a new wellness planner offers sleep, meditation, breathing, and stretching content.« Our customers told us that they wanted more choice and flexibility in how to spend their time on board. »", assures Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President Customer Experience at Singapore Airlines.

A deployment starting in 2027
The new KrisWorld will equip the 41 refurbished long-haul and ultra-long-haul (ULR) A350-900 aircraft, which will enter service gradually starting in 2027. The functions will vary depending on the aircraft and class. When announcing the renovation program, the airline aimed for a first entry into service in the second quarter of 2026, with an investment of 1.1 billion dollars from Singapore.
In parallel, Starlink will gradually be introduced on the A380, A350-900 long-haul aircraft and A350-900ULR aircraft starting in early 2027.
