The new Premium Economy class will make its debut on the Singapore Airlines network on 9 August on the Singapore-Sydney route. French business travellers will be able to discover it on departure from Paris at the end of September, and even on a daily basis from October. They will discover 47 to 49 cm wide seats, with leather finishes and a 34 cm wide individual touch screen - a Premium Economy record - accompanied by high-definition noise-cancelling headphones. The new seats will also feature a power supply, two USB ports and storage space for the computers and other tablets that usually accompany business travellers. The range of meals and drinks has also been increased, and passengers will even be able to choose their main course before the day of departure from the Book the Cook menu. In terms of services, the Premium Economy class will offer access to priority baggage check-in and delivery, with a baggage allowance of 35 kg. "Many of our customers have been asking for a new Premium Economy service and we are confident that we can exceed their expectations," says Mak Swee Wah, Executive Vice President Commercial, Singapore Airlines.
