Singapore: Cathay Pacific moves to Changi for a new show

Cathay Pacific is moving from Terminal 1 at Singapore's Changi airport to a brand new Terminal 4. The Hong Kong-based airline is taking advantage of this move to inaugurate a new lounge designed to welcome business customers.

Business travellers who regularly use the Cathay Pacific network for their trips to Singapore are going to have to change their habits. Since this Tuesday 31st Octoberthe Hong Kong-based carrier is moving from its usual Terminal 1 for the whole new Terminal 4. This small move is accompanied by a modernisation of the passenger journey: check-in, baggage drop-off, immigration and boarding will be based on fully automated systems.

In addition, Cathay Pacific is taking advantage of its move to Terminal 4 to inaugurate a brand new new loungeone of the airline's largest business lounges. Cathay has designed its new lounge on the model of The PierThis is the airline's main lounge at its Hong Kong hub. It can accommodate up to 200 passengers, including First and Business Class passengers, as well as Marco Polo Silver, Gold and Diamond programme members.

Cathay Pacific offers 10 weekly flights between Paris-CDG and Hong Kong - and even one more from next December - and up to 8 daily flights between Hong Kong and Singapore.
