SNCF-Air France partnership: Train + Air gains ground
The dedicated Train + Air intermodal service will cover new routes to improve links between Air France and SNCF services. United, Lufthansa and Deutsche Bahn are doing the same on the transatlantic route, under the Star Alliance umbrella.

Train + Air, the integrated offer from Air France and SNCF, is gaining ground. As is the link-up between DB and Star Alliance.
The service Train + Air provides travellers with a single booking for their entire journey, combining rail and air. Above all, it guarantees a seat on the next flight or train in the event of delays, free of charge. Last year, the service even entered the digital age, with the possibility of checking in online via airfrance.fr, even for the rail portion of the journey...

La SNCF and Air Francethe two French heavyweights in business travel, are putting their competitive relationship on hold for the time being in favour of smoother and, if possible, more energy-efficient journeys. CO2... In three decades, the partnership will have reached 33 links to and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly (via Massy TGV station).
The announcement of the 24 November adds 8 links the Train + Air intermodal service: a quantum leap that will benefit business customers in particular. The stations concerned are Aix-en-Provence, Arras, Laval and Lille Flandres for journeys to the two Paris airports: Paris-CDG and Paris-Orly. The station of Perpignan now benefits from this link with Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.
All in all, 41 links are now covered by the Train + Air offer, from 22 stations Aix-en-Provence TGV, Angers Saint-Laud, Arras, Avignon TGV, Bordeaux Saint-Jean, Champagne-Ardenne TGV, Le Mans, Laval, Lille Europe, Lille Flandres, Lorraine TGV, Lyon Part-Dieu, Marseille Saint-Charles, Montpellier Saint-Roch, Nantes, Nîmes, Perpignan, Poitiers, Rennes, Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, Strasbourg and Valence TGV.
