To mark its 60th anniversary, Sofitel has embarked on a programme to upgrade its entire offering. One of the brand's flagship hotels, the Sofitel New York, was no exception. And this will be done without closing, since the work will be carried out in phases, floor by floor, so as not to inconvenience customers.

The lobby, lifts, corridors and, of course, the 347 rooms and 51 suites, including the Terrace suites whose outdoor terraces offer breathtaking views of the Chrysler and the Empire State Building: the entire establishment will be getting a facelift. However, the original concept, conceived by the designers at HBA San Francisco, who gave the hotel its new look, will remain intact. a décor combining Parisian Art Deco with the glamour of 1940s Manhattan.
