A number of fine city hotels, including the Bless Madrid, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, but above all major resorts for corporate events and incentive breaks: the Palladium group is positioning itself as a major player. both in Spain and in the Caribbean. The Spanish hotelier has also been present in New York since last year with 45 Times Square, which is due to be converted after renovation to the Only YOU brand of urban boutique hotels.

With plans to expand into other American cities such as Miami, Los Angeles and
In Chicago, as well as in Mexico, the Middle East and the Mediterranean, this Only YOU brand is already expected in Venice in 2026. But it is in Spain that business travellers can now discover its spirit, notably in Seville where a 209-room hotel recently opened its doors, offering several restaurants and an event space equipped with a swimming pool. While its hotels are all amply equipped with meeting rooms, Only You is also present in Valencia and Malaga and also has two establishments in Madrid. One in a 19th-century mansione century in the Chueca district, and the other, more contemporary and designed by Lázaro Rosa Violán, just opposite Atocha station.

However, the focal point of this group, which focuses on four and five-star hotels, is above all the island of IbizaThis is the island where the Palladium story began over 50 years ago. An island where, with the exception of Only You, all the group's brands are represented. In other words, Palladium and Grand Palladium hotels, a luxury Bless hotel and another TRS hotel, positioned on an all-inclusive and 'adults only' offer, but which also extends to the 'family'. MICE eventsThe group also has a licence for the Hard Rock Hotel brand in Spain. Ibiza is also the island where Palladium launched the Ushuaia hotel-disco concept, undoubtedly the world's largest open-air club and a must for all DJ stars.

While the Palladium group's offering is essentially leisure-oriented, with a large proportion of its forty or so hotels being resorts, MICE also accounts for 15% of its business. " This is a strategic segmentThis is particularly important in Ibiza, as it helps us to increase hotel activity during the peak season, in April and May and from October to November." explains Sergio Zertuche, Managing Director Sales & Marketing.

Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa.

Recently refurbished and located just five minutes from the airport, the Grand Palladium Palace can accommodate up to 650 participants in its open-air areas - including a fully-equipped stage - and its five meeting rooms, in addition to the full range of activities expected of an incentive break. For its part, Hard Rock Ibiza is also seeing the big picture with 493 rooms, a 569 m² conference centre for meetings of up to 450 participants and an open-air stage for events of up to 2,000 people.

Extending the season with MICE events

While some hotels in Ibiza close their doors during the winter months, others such as Hard Rock Tenerife and Hard Rock Marbella remain open all year round. " In the very low season, between December and February, these establishments rely mainly on MICE." stresses Sergio Zertuche. Hence the importance of being able to accommodate business groups. While the Marbella hotel has almost 900 m² of meeting space, the Hard Rock Tenerife is counting on its convention centreThis 365-room and 259-suite hotel will be filled to capacity with the Woodstock Room, which can accommodate 500 people.

This expertise in hosting corporate events of all sizes extends beyond the Iberian peninsula, notably near Palermo with the Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa, the group's 'Italian jewel'. Renovated in 2021, this hotel not only offers direct access to one of the largest beaches on the coast of northern Sicily, but also boasts 1,000 m² of MICE space, including a ballroom with a capacity of almost 500 people. As for the establishments on the other side of the Atlantic, they all extend their activities from a component meetings with rooms ranging from 500 to 1000m² for the largest events. It's worth noting that in Mexico and Brazil, as in Europe, the Palladium group's hotels have added a powerful argument to win over organisers: they draw 100% of their energy from renewable sources.
