Next summer, Swiss International Air Lines (Swiss) continues to expand its international network but at a slower pace than initially planned. The company plans to offer only 85% of capacity offered in 2019. According to the company, the top priority remains stability of supply. Swiss will serve a total of 112 destinations from Zurich and Geneva. Swiss passengers will have a choice of 86 destinations from Zurich and 47 departing from Geneva.

An expanded offering in Europe's major cities
Swiss will offer its passengers a choice of 64 European and 22 intercontinental destinations from Zurich. For the intercontinental network, no precise information has been communicated, but the carrier has indicated that it will offer numerous routes to North America as well as a more extensive offer to Asia. In fact, Swiss will adapt its offer according to the progressive opening of the markets.
In Europe, the focus will be on the most popular European cities, such as Amsterdam, Berlin, London and Rome. Passengers will also have a wide choice of flights to popular destinations in Italy and Spain, as well as Scandinavia. Services to Eastern Europe and Germany will also be expanded. For the first time, Swiss will also serve the city of Bristolin the south of England, with three flights a week.
Four new routes from Geneva
From Geneva, Swiss will be adding four new destinations to its network in summer 2023: Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo and Hamburg.. The Romandie hub will benefit from flights to 46 destinations in Europe as well as a daily service to New York.
To further stabilise its range of flights, Swiss will call on partners with whom it rents aircraft and personnel. It will use the aircraft of Helvetic Airways and Air Baltic. Finally, Swiss subsidiary Edelweiss Air will operate an Airbus A340 on the Zurich-Montreal route from May to October 2023.
