"The world's largest fleet of wide-body aircraft equipped with Starlink in the world": this was the milestone reached in July by Qatar Airways. It will therefore have taken the company less than a year to complete this programme, launched in October 2024, instead of the two years initially planned. To achieve this, the management of Qatar Airways reports that it has reduced the time required per flight from three days to just 9.5 hours. The company can now focus on the next stage of the roadmap established with Starlink the Airbus A350.

Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, explains: " This latest milestone is testament to our strategic investment in redefining passenger expectations. We promised the fastest, smoothest in-flight connectivity in the industry, and with Starlink we've delivered faster and on an unprecedented scale. Having completed our Boeing 777 roll-out programme, we are now fully focused on equipping our Airbus A350 fleet with Starlink, to offer this revolutionary experience on even more routes across our global network of more than 170 destinations.
