At the Fondation Beyeler in Basel, for example, some forty pieces by Brancusi are compared with ten minimalist sculptures by Serra, providing an insight into the development of the latter's art.
The Hahnloser collection, assembled between 1907 and 1932 in Winterthur by a doctor and his wife who were friends of the painters, is on show in Lausanne. It bears witness to the special moments they shared with Vallotton, Vuillard, Manguin and Bonnard.
