The Circlethe new business tourism zone at Zurich airport, is due to open its doors in September 2020 a kind of small town covering an area of 180 000 m²The Circle will be home to a wide range of shops, restaurants, brand-name shops, art galleries and even an outpatient centre at Zurich University Hospital. But above all, The Circle will be a vast business hub with offices - the airport authorities, the Edelweiss airline and the Inventx IT company will be moving there - a place for coworking Spaces, two hotels Hyatt Place and Hyatt Regency for a total of 554 rooms. The whole complex is completed by a congress centre capable of accommodating 1,500 people in its main hall. With a total of 5,000 m² of modular space, it also offers 15 meeting rooms. At the same time, Zurich-based start-up Westhive will operate a dedicated training and education centre, with the MindHuba multifunctional room for seminars, meetings and workshops. The complex is based on an environmentally-friendly design, with buildings certified under the LEED Platinum programme. To reinforce its green credentials, The Circle complex opens onto a vast park designed by the architect Riken Yamamoto.
