With a mobile customer base of some 500,000 travellers, the Thalys technology portal is getting new features with the launch of an improved version of its mobile application. The Thalys app, available free of charge on the App Store and Google Play, now includes a new purchase function, as well as the storage of recent searches and personal information, and the centralisation of reservations and travel files. Thalys highlights an average booking time of 90 seconds via the application, describing a simple, fast and secure process that leads to the ticket being made available in the "my tickets" section. "With the purchase of tickets in just a few clicks, we are offering them a truly comprehensive and efficient mobile service", says Franck Gervais, CEO of Thalys International. Other services have been integrated into this new version of the application, including e-mail tracking and a personalised alert system to keep you informed about traffic.
