The Workroom: D&D London restaurants go coworking

Restaurant chain D&D London has just launched a mobile application, "The Workroom", enabling business travellers to book a workspace in one of the brand's establishments, based on the coworking model.

Filling every table at every service is good. Filling a restaurant outside mealtimes is even better in terms of profitability. This is undoubtedly the rationale behind the launch of the The Workroom by D&D London. The chain of restaurants, bars and hotels - including the Alcazar in Saint-Germain-des-Près - has just launched the 10 June a mobile application which could be of interest to more than one business traveller. The aim is to rent a workspace, either on your own or with colleagues, in one of the Group's offices. Daily access is charged at 10 books (just over 11 euros), and includes a workspace, WiFi access, power sockets and a supply of caffeine. The Workroom also includes a meetings section, enabling users to reserve a more private space and invite their colleagues.
