February saw the Air France-KLM group record higher results than in 2011. Group traffic rose significantly (+6.2%), as did the load factor (+2.8 points) and the number of passengers carried (+5% to 5.34 million). However, a number of strikes disrupted the group's operations - as did a number of others.Iberia or Lufthansa - but European traffic followed the upward trend (+4.9%). The Africa-Middle East (+6.9%) and above all the Americas (+13.1%) networks appear to be the main drivers of this growth, while performance in Asia is stagnating (+1.6%).
