Transavia has just published its 2026 summer programme. The most important event is the takeover of Air France's last three major domestic routes which is now concentrating exclusively on its Roissy CDG network. Transavia, which had already taken over routes to Biarritz, Montpellier, Perpignan or even Toulonwill therefore exploit the lines on MarseilleNice and Toulouse.
With a nasty surprise for frequent travellers. While the carrier explains that it is strengthening its domestic offer, the reality is that a sharp reduction in the number of frequencies offered from Orly.
Fewer flights between Orly and the regions than Air France
From 29 March 2026, the company will offer up to 8 daily flights to Nice, 2 to Marseille and 8 to Toulouse from Paris-Orly.
A comparison with Air France's current offer shows that Marseille's weekly flights have been cut from 19 (equivalent to almost three daily flights) to two a day.. It is Nice to suffer the biggest reduction of the Air France group. At present, Air France still serves the Orly-Nice route with 13 daily weekday flights. On Toulouse Finally, Air France is currently offering from Monday to Friday up to 12 return frequencies from Orly.
However, Transavia's offer remains complementary to that of Air France from CDG. It will be accompanied by product developments designed to better meet customer expectations : priority departure at gate 2C for a simplified airport journey, greater flexibility for ticket changes and exhibition opening dedicated to Orly.
Holiday services from Orly and the regions
International, Transavia launches 4 new European destinations from its Orly base. From 17 April 2026, the company will land at Sarajevo with 2 flights a week (Mondays and Fridays). At the same time, it will also serve Pisa with 4 flights a week (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays).
And if you're looking for a seaside break, there's plenty to do at Araxos (Greece) and Bourgas (Bulgaria). These two routes will start operating on 20 April, once a week.
To complement these openings, Transavia France increases frequencies on some of its existing routes departures from Paris-Orly compared with summer 2025. Orly-Venice will increase from 7 to 14 weekly flights, Orly-Stockholm 6 to 10 weekly flights and Orly-Madrid from 28 to 34 weekly flights.
In the regions, Transavia is strengthening its flight offer. A LyonThe airline is launching a weekly flight to Izmir from 5 April and another weekly flight to Catania from 18 July.
Other new services include a weekly flight to Marseille-Seville from 9 April; a weekly flight to Montpellier-Djerba from 20 April; two weekly flights to Nantes-Bari (Thursday and Sunday) from 09 April. And finally, a domestic service on Rennes-Ajaccio from 18 July.
