The arrival of the winter season will see a strengthening of long-haul routes on the network Transavia. They concern routes toAfrica and the Middle East but also, for the first time, to the Gulf - in particular Dubai.
To theAfrica, the low-cost subsidiary of the Air France-KLM group will be launching the service to Cape Verde from Paris-Orly. There will be two flights a week (Monday and Friday) to Praia and one flight a week (Saturday) to Sao Vincente. Service to Praia has also been confirmed for the summer season 2024.
In parallel Dakar has become Transavia's busiest regional African destination. The carrier adds flights from Bordeaux (Tuesday and Friday) and Toulouse (Sunday). These routes join existing flights from Lyon, Marseille and Nantes. These services are due to start at the end of October.
For the CairoTransavia will offer two flights a week from Lyon (Tuesday and Friday) and Nantes (Friday) from 22 December.
On the Near and Middle East, Transavia launches on 29 October three flights a week from Lyon to Dubai (go on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Next on 31 October three weekly flights from Marseille (outbound on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; return on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays).
And finally.., Orly will have a flight every Saturday from 4 November to Aqaba in Jordan.
