Turkish Airlines returns to Tirana

Tirana was one of the last European capitals not to be served by Turkish Airlines. The airline is now going to fill this gap.

Turkish Airlines left Tirana in June 2019. It is returning just under six years later with one or two daily flights from Istanbul, depending on the day. The airline will operate a Boeing 737-800 with a business and economy class.

The flight will leave Istanbul early in the morning and return in the morning. The second flight will leave Istanbul in the evening and return for a landing around midnight at Istanbul.

The Balkans are a traditional destination for Turkish Airlines. The airline already offers daily flights to AthensBelgrade, Bucharest, Constanta, Podgorica, Pristina, Sarajevo, Skopje, Sofia, Thessaloniki, Tivat and Varna.
