On the Place des Nations in Geneva, where the UN headquarters are located, this sculpture by Daniel Berset, installed at the initiative of Handicap International, symbolises the desire to put an end to the use of anti-personnel mines. The "Broken Chair" will remain in place until 40 countries have ratified the Ottawa Convention.
