This innovation, unveiled on 5 October by Vinci Airports, will be available to passengers on the Lyon-Porto de Gaulle flight for one year. Transavia and Lyon-Lisbon operated by TAP Air Portugal. In practice, to take advantage of the biometric journey, travellers must first create their customer account via a smartphone application or at a kiosk at the airport. The Mona subscriber will then benefit from a dedicated route through the airport and accelerated thanks to facial recognition. Subject to review by the CNIL, this service is based on a technological foundation comprising a biometric system and a relationship marketing solution. As well as providing real-time information on flights and passenger journeys, Mona will also be able to offer users personalised services and experiences, developed in partnership with airlines and airport shops.
