Business travellers were already familiar with V-Pro, the digital toolbox launched almost a year ago by Voyages-sncf.com. Since then, the platform has found its audience, offering a toolbox that centralises most of the needs of mobile professionals, from 1-click booking to expense management. V-Pro already has more than 400,000 users.
Since the start of the autumn, companies have also been discovering digital travel management, according to Voyages-sncf.com. On 4 September, the mobility specialist launched "V-Pro Entreprises", a free business travel management service. The aim is to enable travellers to be autonomous and companies to control expenditure by centralising data.
In practical terms, business travellers can link their account to that of the company, or create one if necessary. After booking freely on the website or public apps, they identify their business trips, add comments and share their orders with their travel manager. Perfectly autonomous, they can change or exchange their tickets at any time via their smartphone.
For its part, the company can monitor its employees' business travel in real time. Everything is centralised in the travel manager's interface, where he or she can find all the accounting documents and extract the consumption tables in Excel format.
The new " V-Pro Companies "is already available free of charge in France and will soon be available in seven European countries.
