
Having dealt a brutal blow to small meetings that don't require long journeys, is Zoom set to establish itself as a key player in hybrid meetings? In any case, the videoconferencing specialist intends to make your mark in the world of virtual events is launching Zoom Events. This all-in-one platform, which will be available from the summer, combines the Zoom Meetings, Chat and Video Webinars solutions and extends its scope from event broadcasting to monetisation.
Zoom had already initiated this development last October with the announcement of its OnZoom solutionThis solution is designed for commercial videoconferencing applications such as fitness classes, music lessons and theatrical presentations. Currently in beta version, this solution will be rebranded and integrated into Zoom Events.
Zoom Events can be used in conjunction with an existing Zoom Meetings or Video Webinar pay-per-use licence to meet a wide range of needs, including for large company conventions, congresses and external events. Some of Zoom Events' features include creating events, ticketing and engaging participants providing organisers with statistics on participation, registrations and takings. The solution also incorporates a tool for controlling access and invoicing from a single portal.
