With the rise of new working habits spawned by the pandemic, the trend towards coworking is gathering pace in the hotel industry. In France, after Accor and its subsidiary Wojo or Best Western and its MyWO, Logis Hotels is taking its turn in this niche with a strong ambition: to become, no more and no less, Europe's leading coworking space by 2023. The chain intends to offer travellers and employees workspaces in most of its 2,300 hotel-restaurants, mainly in France, but also in seven other countries.

In France, after Accor and its subsidiary Wojo or Best Western and its MyWO, Logis Hotels is taking its turn in this niche with a strong ambition: to become, no more and no less, Europe's leading coworking space by 2023. The chain intends to offer travellers and employees workspaces in most of its 2,300 hotel-restaurants, mainly in France, but also in seven other countries.
Currently, around sixty hotels affiliated to the chain are conducting a pilot phase before the offer is officially launched in May, followed by a gradual roll-out. The originality of the Logis Hotels proposal lies in the hotel stock of this independent network, and its extensive network of tertiary towns and the French countryside. What differentiates our offer from that of Wojo, for example, whose spaces are being deployed in Accor hotelsThey are more prevalent in major cities and secondary towns.
To create this offering, Logis Hotels has entered into a strategic partnership with Gowork&Co, whose Hop'n Space network can already be used to book coworking spaces in hotels. Hop'n Space's listing of workspaces in Logis Hotels guarantees a certain number of facilities: free high-speed Wi-Fi, easy access to electrical and USB sockets, free parking and disabled access. Additional benefits, either free or for a fee, can be added, such as a coffee machine, breakfast or catering. Hop'n Space also offers a range of additional services, including meeting rooms and the possibility of converting a room into an office on a half-day or full-day basis.
"This solution enables us to attract new customers to our establishment. The introduction of this type of service enables us to be visible to small companiesbut also with larger organisations" said Cassandra Cyrvan, assistant manager of one of the test establishments, the Logis Hôtel Center in Brest.
Workstations can be booked directly on the goworkandco website, with benefits reserved for members of Logis' Etik loyalty programme, including free administration fees on registration and a monthly subscription at €9.90, instead of €14.90, for unlimited access to shared spaces in the Hop'n Space network. In addition, slots can be booked by the hour over several days, and for up to 30 days for shared spaces, while meeting rooms can be booked for up to 60 days depending on the options.
