Hotel groups are taking a keen interest in SMEs. Recently, Hilton announced the improvement of its program dedicated to medium-sized businesses, Hilton for Business, With new tools offering increased visibility on travel and the ability to book for another collaborator. Launched in 2024, this booking platform was initially unveiled shortly before another solution offered to SMEs, the program Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy, He was based in the back-office on the «Travel-as-a-Service» platform of Spotnana.
It is this same partner that the Hyatt group has chosen to enrich Hyatt Leverage, its booking solution also dedicated to SMEs. This new version, which has just been announced, offers travel managers and travelers a streamlined booking process. It also incorporates the benefits of the World of Hyatt program, for administrators and travelers alike.
In addition to this, users of this program will have access to preferential rates at more than 1,300 hotels belonging to the Hyatt group worldwide, while, in terms of management, the platform allows for booking, checking and managing reservations, as well as travel expenses or payments, all in one place.
While existing Hyatt Leverage customers have already all migrated to the new platform, future members of the program must meet several criteria. First and foremost, of course, they must be considered a small or medium-sized business and be a legally constituted entity, but they must also complete at least 50 nights of actual stays per year.
For the American group, as for its competitors, these programs dedicated to small and medium-sized businesses are also a way, in addition to simplifying their lives, to attract more direct bookings. Hyatt Leverage, which has thousands of customers worldwide, is not available for bookings made through a travel agency, a TMC, or any other online booking tool.
