Air France has unveiled its flight schedule to Africa. A programme that includes several downward frequency adjustments during the month of November. This reduction in the number of flights affects in particular Abidjan, Douala, Lagos, Libreville, Luanda, Malabo and Pointe Noire.
The biggest reduction concerns the Paris CDG-Abidjan with weekly frequencies reduced from 14 to 10 flights from 30 October to 04 December.
Follow the line CDG-Lagoswith frequencies reduced from 7 to 5 weekly flights from 30 October to 30 November. CDG-Douala-Malabo is also seeing a reduction of one flight per week, from 7 to 6 frequencies. This reduction will apply until 5 December. Same reduction in frequency on CDG-Librevillefrom 7 to 6 flights a week over the same period.
Finally, the Paris CDG-Pointe-Noire will now be operated with a stopover at Luanda and will see the total number of frequencies reduced from 4 to 3 weekly flights.
On all Air France flights mentioned, the aircraft in service are Airbus A330-200s or Boeing 777-200ERs or 300ERs.
Adjustments also made to Air Sénégal
In addition, the company Air Senegal is also adjusting its schedules by reducing some of its frequencies in Africa and Europe.
To continental Europe, the airline is reducing its frequencies from 3 to 2 flights a week on Barcelona from 22 September. On Dakar-MilanFrom 3 October, the carrier will be reducing the number of flights per week from 4 to 3. Last but not least, the fourth additional weekly flight scheduled on the Lyon-Marseille-Dakar route has been cancelled.
About Africa, Air Sénégal reduces frequencies on Casablanca, Cotonou, Douala and Libreville. The company has also decided to postpone indefinitely the opening of the Dakar-Accra route.
