This champagne bar, the only one of its kind in Europe, is a wooden cabin built on an 80 square metre platform that can accommodate up to 70 people. Integrated into the landscape, it is accessed via a footbridge, from where you can overlook the Champagne plain while tasting the finest vintages from Mumm and Bollinger. The owner, Olivier Couteau, plans to open two suspended glass and wood rooms in the spring: the Perching Pad.
In the meantime, groups can take a tour through the antlers or abseil 30 metres down into the Leclerc-Briant cellars in Épernay, where organic champagne producers will be showing off their cuvées and introducing them to the art of sandblasting.
