The airport of Nantes Atlantique is holding five inaugurations in six days, at the start of the winter season. Both airlines announced these openings in the spring. easyJet operates three of them. Brussels has been served since October 26, Monday and Friday. Essaouira followed on October 27, with flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Finally, Louxor will be connected every Saturday starting October 31.
Transavia operates the other two lines. Cairo It has been served every Wednesday since October 28. São Vicente in Cape Verde has been connected every Friday since October 30. The archipelago thus has three islands accessible directly from Nantes, with Boa Vista and Sal. The three airports are also – like the others – managed by VINCI Airports.
For business travelers, the line to Brussels Airport is the most interesting one. It serves the main airport of the Belgian capital.« These openings strengthen connectivity and illustrate the confidence of easyJet and Transavia in the Nantes region. »That's why we are working on the development of a new terminal," emphasizes Guillaume Dubois, director of the Nantes Atlantique airport.
