Restaurants
On the main axis of Paris Rive Gauche - the avenues de France and Pierre Mendès France - restaurants, cafés and brasseries are opening at a steady pace. From west to east:

The Café Bibliothèque in the MK2 Bibliothèque complex (128/162, av. de France) and the Dupont Café (84, av. de France) stand out for their double corner terraces and the quality of their decor. Cafe-brasseries with sunny terraces in fine weather are not confined to the main axis of Paris Rive Gauche. They have also invaded the adjacent streets and squares, between the Fish&Food Café (25, rue Françoise Dolto), the Red Balloon (17, rue Abel Gance), the Press Café (12-14, rue Thomas Mann) or the Filofromage (12 rue Neuve Tolbiac).
The big chains are obviously not absent from the game. The presence of a Café Lenôtre (110, av. de France, right next to the Accor offices), a Hippopotamus (31, rue Marie-Andrée Lagroua Weill-Hallé) and a Buffalo Grill (2, rue Raymond Aron).
Just behind the district, the XIIIth offers a number of pleasant establishments such as the Zygothèque (15 bis, rue de Tolbiac) or the Kamukera (113, rue du Chevaleret), an Afro-Caribbean restaurant run by a former Clodette.
Express Breakfast
Here again, fast-food chains are omnipresent, with Lina's (17, rue Olivier Messiaen) , Exki (118, av. de France), Midoré (17, rue Françoise Dolto), Roule Galette (8 rue Elsa Morante), Mezzo di Pasta (81, quai Panhard et Levassor) and Eric Kayser (77, quai Panhard et Levassor).
There are plenty of 'sushi' options too, from takeaway sales at the new-look Monoprix (90, av. de France) to the Toyama (5, rue Françoise Dolto), Maki Sushi Tokyo (44, rue de Tolbiac) or Sushi Masséna (69, quai Panhard et Levassor).
