But it's the range of cultural products on offer that sets the district apart. The bookshop Joseph Gibert opened a store in 2007, a stone's throw from Paris Diderot University. But the real originality comes from the concept store in the cinema complex MK2 LibraryIt has a chic grocery shop, a bookshop and, above all, a DVD shop with a particularly specialised selection.
The district also began to specialise in the sale of musical instruments, with the opening of a fine piano shop (Euroconcertrue Olivier Messiaen) and an electric guitar boutique (Guitar's Rebellionon the corner of rue René Goscinny and rue des Frigos).
