A new bastion of traditional paper has fallen. Following in the footsteps of boarding passes, loyalty cards and postcards, it's now the turn of the business card to go digital. Buzcard is launching the first business cards that can be updated at will. The secret: a QR code - a 2D tag that can now be seen in all areas of daily life - printed on the back of the card, directing the user to regularly updated contact details. Users can then scan the QR code with any smartphone, and be redirected to their own online card: a personal mobile web page, with photo, contact details, social networks and other news, which can be updated free of charge. A little extra - for the company more than for the employee - the card outlives its holder, and can be redirected to the contact details of his or her successor in the event of a move.
