The withdrawal of two new unions involved in the strike had already set the tone for a loss of intensity in the strike action, which was confirmed in the figures released by Air France at the beginning of the week. The airline reports that it operated 91% of its flights on 1 November, and expects to continue in this vein this Wednesday: the press release issued by Air France forecasts that it will operate 92% of its schedule today, and mentions "very limited disruption". In addition, no flights have been cancelled at the last minute, either at Paris Charles de Gaulle or Orly, and 82% of flights have departed less than 15 minutes late, according to the airline. Traffic is expected to return to normal on Thursday 3 November.
