A new Power 4 slate from Asus

Asus could well interest more than one business traveller with its new Transformer Prime tablet, which combines power, autonomy and manoeuvrability.

Practical and efficient, the new slate officially presented by Asus on 9 November has some convincing arguments for the business traveller. In particular, it can be fitted with a removable keyboard, which gives the tablet an extra 6 hours of battery life. Another strong point of the Transformer Prime, and not the least, is its power, thanks to a quad-core processor, the new Tegra 3 launched by Nvidia. This doesn't mean that battery life suffers, quite the contrary: the tablet is said to have a battery life of 12 hours in video mode. The Transformer Prime, which runs on Android Honeycomb, is due to hit the European market in early 2012.
