Given the sheer size of Dubai airport, and the number of travellers who pass through one of the world's busiest airports every day, the launch of a new application is bound to be good news for business travellers. Officially announced on 2 January by the Dubai hub, "MyDXB" provides travellers with all the information they need about their flight, their boarding gate, and the various services and shops available at the international airport. The aim of the application is to "enable passengers to maximise their time with us, and direct them to services such as currency exchange or their favourite shop", says Eugene Barry, Vice President of the airport's Commercial Division.
