Geneva will thus become LATAM Brasil’s 11th European destination and 33rd international destination. From Guarulhos, passengers will then be able to join the company’s network in Brazil and South America, including in Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia. « The addition of Geneva Our European network represents an important step in our growth strategy and our commitment to bringing Europe and South America closer together. »", declares Thibaud Morand, General Manager of LATAM Airlines for Europe, Asia and the South Pacific.

A line awaited by international business clientele
The airport primarily targets international organizations and multinational companies based in the region.« The United Nations, its agencies and many multinational corporations that have their headquarters in our region maintain close ties with Brazil and South America and frequently travel there. »This line should also attract Brazilian visitors to the Alps, both in summer and in winter," emphasizes Jean-François de Saussure, CEO of Genève Aéroport.
Until now, getting to São Paulo from Geneva required a stopover in Lisbon, Zurich or Paris. After Amsterdam and Brussels, LATAM is thus continuing its strategy: serving European cities that lack direct flights to Brazil. The route will offer a journey of nearly twelve hours, departing from an airport that also serves Haute-Savoie and Ain. With three weekly rotations, business travelers will however have to arrange their travel around the flight days.
