The meetings and seminars sector is going green in the Var: the Palais des Congrès de St Raphaël recently became the first structure of its kind in the department to obtain France Congrès Quality & Sustainable Development certification. The label rewards the convention centre's compliance with 25 commitments in three areas: "supporting customers to ensure a successful event", "communicating and raising awareness of eco-responsibility", and "acting to protect the environment".
