EuroAirport soon on track

The EuroAirport should be connected to the rail network and have its own station, according to the project published on 22 May by the heads of the Franco-Swiss structure and Réseau Ferré de France (RFF).

EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse

A rail service to EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse is expected to be completed by 2018-2020, following an investment plan estimated at €220 million. The airport would then have a station built right next to the terminal, linked to the existing Mulhouse-Basel line by a new section around six kilometres long. French business travellers - as well as Swiss professionals - would then be able to reach the EuroAirport via regional trains.
