What are the strengths of the Nids des Vosges site that you opened in Champdray in 2011?

François Horcholle - Located nine kilometres from the Gérardmer resort, the site comprises seven cabins perched in an exceptional natural environment, with plenty of snow thanks to the presence of the first mountains in the Vosges massif. Decorated in a cosy atmosphere, they have a total capacity of 20 beds. The reception building, located in an old farmhouse, has a fully-equipped meeting room for around thirty people. It also has a sauna and showers.

What products do you offer companies?

F.H. - From the site, we can organise snowshoe and husky treks, nature treasure hunts, ice climbing, challenges with double Olympic mountain bike champion Julien Absalon, evenings on site or in a gourmet restaurant, visits to local crafts with themes such as textiles, household linen, wood or local produce. In addition, all kinds of winter sports can be organised in Gérardmer, while Champdray is home to a renowned snowkiting spot, with courses to suit all levels. Finally, nearby is Go Park, a racing car circuit that also welcomes groups.

What are the groups looking for when they come to you?

F.H. - A change of scenery and a return to nature. We have hosted a number of insurance seminars. They enjoyed meeting in small groups, in an unspoilt, simple and comfortable setting. And, to top it all off, they were able to sleep in the snow-covered trees, just like in their childhood dreams!
