Growth in sight for Brazilian business travel according to GBTA

Spending on business travel is set to soar again in Brazil in 2013, with the GBTA forecasting double-digit growth over the coming months.

Overall, the business travel market in Brazil is expected to generate some €26.66 billion (€34.5 billion) in spending in 2013, according to forecasts published by GBTA in its "GBTA BTI Outlook". Growth in the sector is expected to reach 14.3%, driven in particular by the increase in international travel (+20.2% forecast in 2013, to €5.49 billion). The index set up by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) logically shows a clear increase (+40 points).
