New ambitions for TourCom Travel Management

The 13th TourCom Affaires workshop, held at the Palais Brongniart on 29 March, saw the birth of TourCom Travel Management. The new name is intended to symbolise the company's desire to compete with the major integrated networks, in particular American Express and CWT.

The 2013 vintage of the traditional TourCom Business network workshop had a very special dimension this year: it marked the advent of a new name for TourCom's business network, which became TourCom Travel Management to "materialise the ambition of the independents to compete directly with the integrated networks". Above all, it reflects the network's strong growth in the business travel segment since its arrival in 1997, with a business volume of over €1 billion. "Companies and travellers are constantly having to deal with unforeseen events, and are looking for a simple, flexible and adaptable service," explains Patrick Loison, Chairman of TourCom Travel Management. "TourCom Travel Management's member agencies, run by passionate entrepreneurs and backed by the network's negotiating power, are in the best position to provide this personalised service. This is what we wanted to emphasise with this new name".
