TGV: a third of business travellers according to Capitaine Train

Capitaine Train has published an infographic listing the reasons why French travellers take the TGV. The document, based on the "National Transport and Travel Survey", estimates that 36.2% of business customers use the high-speed network.

"Why do the French take the TGV? This is the question posed by the Capitaine Train rail booking platform in an interesting infographic based on figures from the Cour des Comptes, after processing data from the national transport and travel survey. Pro" customers therefore account for slightly more than a third (36.2%). Business travel by TGV would represent 29%. Other Pro passengers (7.2%) would use the high-speed network to get to their usual place of work.
