The event management platform Eventdrive has joined forces with the meeting venue finder BizmeetingSince mid-June, the two partners have been offering a combined package designed to simplify the task of event organisers.
At the same time, other specialists in the sector are refining their online offerings, such as Bird Office orIdeal Meetings & Events. The former is now positioning itself more clearly in the large company segment and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with the launch in May of a dedicated offering. This includes one-off invoicing, simplified booking, integration with SAP and a reporting tool. The booking tool can also be configured to enforce compliance with the company's purchasing policy.
From his side, Ideal Meetings & Events recently launched its online booking portal - Myeasyvent - which references more than 30,000 establishments and suppliers in France and abroad, to simplify the search and booking of venues for seminars and business events. Like the tools available to the general public, the platform includes a "favourites" function that allows organisers to create shortlists and catalogues of their favourites.
