A good year for Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air: that's how the 2017 financial year could be summed up for the Greek airline, which broke its own records for customers carried dating from the previous year. Aeagan Airlines increased its 6 % its passenger numbers. This figure rose from around 12,500,000 passengers in 2016 to 13,200,000 in 2017. This growth was driven in particular by international traffic, which was up sharply (9%) on last year, accounting for 55.3% of total activity.
