In turn, Air Austral offers complete flexibility in June on all tickets

Throughout the month of June, Air Austral is offering flexibility on all ticket classes and fares.

After Air France-KLMHere, Air Austral is offering all its passengers complete flexibility on all tickets purchased for destinations operated by the Reunion-based company. It was indeed difficult for Air Austral not to align itself with Air France's offer, given the competition between the two carriers on the Paris-La Réunion route.

Air Austral also explains its decision by a international context marked by numerous geopolitical uncertainties. Therefore, from 4 June 2026 up to and including 30 June 2026, all tickets purchased benefit from a penalty-free amendment, regardless of the travel class and fare selected.

This measure applies to journeys to and from all destinations on Air Austral's long-haul network from Paris to Réunion and Mayotte, from Réunion to Bangkok, and also to connecting destinations on the short-haul network in the Indian Ocean, to Mauritius, Madagascar, the Comoros, or Johannesburg.

In an environment where travellers want to be able to adapt their plans more than ever based on changes to their personal circumstances or the international context, we believe it is essential to offer them greater flexibility. We also confirm our full commitment to ensuring our flight schedule and continuing to sustainably connect Réunion, Mayotte and all Indian Ocean territories to Paris and our main international destinations." underlined Hugues MarchessauxChairman of the Management Board of Air Austral.
