According to figures released on Wednesday by Air Canada, the airline's overall load factor reached 85.9% for July. A year earlier, it stood at 86.4 %: a fall (-0.5%) linked in particular to the decline in transatlantic traffic, which is down significantly (-4.4%) compared to the same period in 2011.The airline's management is nonetheless pleased with these figures: "This result, close to last year's record load factor for the same month, has been maintained thanks to our rigorous approach to capacity management", says Calin Rovinescu, President and CEO of Air Canada.
