Air Congo had launched its first flight to a European airport at the beginning of July, inaugurating the Brussels-Kinshasa route. The national airline is already thinking bigger with this announcement, officially made on the 1st.er August on X: " We are proud to announce the opening of our new Kinshasa – Paris destination, a link that brings people, families and opportunities closer together. » indicates Air Congo.

However, the carrier remains tight-lipped about its plans on this route. No information has so far emerged regarding the launch date or the frequency of Paris-Kinshasa flights. Air Congo should, however, reiterate the modus operandi used for its arrival in Brussels: using an Ethiopian Airlines aircraft to circumvent its flight ban imposed by the European Union, which has kept it on Blacklist.
The future Kinshasa-Paris flight will thus compete with Air France's monopoly on this direct route, as has been the case with Brussels Airlines since early July.
