Air France to test the digital health certificate ICC AOKpass. The announcement of a pilot phase for Covid's solution for digitising test results comes just one day after that made by French Bee and Air Caraïbes. And, like the two companies in the Dubreuil Group, this test programme will focus on Air France flights to French overseas departments and territories.
From 11 March 2021, and for a period of four weeks, passengers on all Air France flights departing from Paris-CDG to Pointe-à-Pitre and Fort-de-France will be able, on a voluntary basis, to test this solution developed by MedAire/International SOS, the International Chamber of Commerce and SGS.
This initiative also has the support of Paris Airport, since the aim of digital health certificates is above all to streamlining the customer experience at airports through secure, digital verification of Covid tests. In this context, Covid tests will have to be carried out in a approved laboratoryAOKpass is a partner of numerous laboratories around the world, including the Cerballiance and Biogroup groups in France.
This pilot phase will enable us to see how the application works in real-life conditions and to gather feedback from test customers. Air France will then share its feedback from other airlines in the Skyteam alliancewhich are currently testing different solutions for digitising healthcare documents.
