The ambitious Beijing New Airport Terminal project now has a face: a few months after being appointed to lead the design of China's new airport hub alongside ADPI, Zaha Hadid Architects has unveiled the first photos, available on its website. Based in Daxing, this new gateway to the Chinese capital will be able to handle 45 million passengers a year from its first year of operation. It is already designated as the world's largest airport terminal, with 700,000 m² of infrastructure.
