Caen-Carpiquet airport sets the record straight

Caen-Carpiquet airport recorded the strongest growth in France in 2018, with a year-on-year increase in traffic of more than 50 %.

These figures can make you dizzy: growth of more than 51 %, 93,000 additional passengers, compared with overall traffic for the year, i.e. 274,011 passengers : l'Caen-Carpiquet airport has just completed a high-flying 2018. According to figures released on 14 January, Hop! was no stranger to the Caen hub's record year. With 154,734 passengers, the Air France subsidiary even generated the majority of the airport's traffic (56 %). Next in line were Voloteawith 36% of traffic, i.e. 99,305 passengers, and - a long way behind the 13,445 passengers on Flybe (5%).
