Business travellers to Central Asia will find a number of new places to stay along the way. These include a Novotel Living establishment that has just opened its doors in Almaty. Its opening had been announced since the end of last year and the opening of an ibis Almaty Jetisu in the former capital of the Kazakhstan. The long-stay dimension completes the offer of this dual-brand hotel complex located on the site of one of the oldest hotels in Kazakhstan, Jetisu, which has been almost entirely transformed and rebuilt.
Close to an underground station and the main attractions of this Central Asian city, the Novotel Living Almaty Jetisu offers 55 flats ranging from studios to three-bedroomsThis is in addition to the 166 classic ibis rooms. The flats all feature a kitchenette, soundproofed work space and a television with Yandex Stations intelligent speakers. This technological dimension is complemented by the Alice voice assistant, which allows customers to control the temperature and lighting in the room, play music and also pull out the integrated convertible bed.
While the neighbouring ibis was designed in a contemporary style by the Urbon Design studio, the design of Novotel Living was created by the Sundukovy sisters, with an equally contemporary feel. Multifunctional, the complex's lobby incorporates shared services such as the Line Brew Reserve restaurant offering a selection of beers produced in the hotel's own brewery, as well as a fitness centre and laundry service. For seminars, corporate events and banquets, the hotel also offers a 60 m² meeting room.
